Mount Zar is the most popular part of the Beskid Maly: paragliders paradise, cable-railway, ski slope. The ski slope along the cable-railway is artificially conditioned with snow cannons. There is also a magic place here, where the moving objects are self going uphill (thanks to an optical illusion). |

The Ethnographic Museum in Ochla is only one this type museum in a middle part of Polish-German border area. The museum presents regional culture underlining specificity of this area. 35 antique country buildings were collected on 13 ha. Among them the most unique are The Wine Tower from Budachowo built in XVIII century and the oldest house from Potrzebowo built in 1675. |

Rafts along the river Dunajec in Pieninski National Park set out from the rafting marina at Sromowce-Kąty, where you can find a parking lot, exhibition pavilion of Pieniny National Park, Tourist Information Office, souvenir shops, restaurant and ticket offices. There are two destinations:
Szczawnica ? total route?s length: app. 18 km, the time of the rafting route: app. 2 hours 15 min.
and Krościenko - total route?s length: app. 23 km, the time of the rafting route: app. 2 hours 45 min. |

Pieniny National Park (PPN) contains the most important and attractive areas of scenic and natural interest in the Pieniny Proper mountain range (Pieniny Właściwe): Three Crowns Massif (Masyw Trzech Koron), Pieniny Czorsztyńskie, Pieninki, and the Dunajec River Gorge (Przełom Dunajca). The Park boasts the highest tourist occupancy rate per 1ha of area among Polish national parks. There are 35 kilometers of trails, as well as Europe's famous rafting route along the Dunajec River Gorge (the route can also be covered on foot via the Pienińska Road [Droga Pienińska]).
Tourists may also use observation facilities on the Three Crowns (Trzy Korony) and Sokolica mountains. Another tourist attraction is Czorsztyn Castle. |
